Osaka Seikei University is a four-year university established by incorporated school of Osaka Seikei Gakuen, which was founded in 1933,and affiliated with five institutes: Osaka Seikei University, Biwako Seikei Sports College, Osaka Seikei College, Osaka Seikei Girls’ School and Komichi Kindergarten attached to Osaka Seikei College. The university is composed of three faculties: Faculty of Management, Faculty of Art and Faculty of Education. It provides academic knowledge and skills needed in the society for all students.
The universcity aims to nurture graduates who can play an active role in society with academic knowledge and can be a person,performing well in all domains of his/her life.

The campus is located in Osaka city , one of the biggest cities in Japan. It is 15 minites from Osaka Station without having to transfer. Various transportations, such as Hankyu train, subway, JR line, city bus, are available to go to school.

Our class consists of lecture ,seminars and workshops. Every class adopts and promotes active learnig method.

Seminars and workshops provide opportunities for discussion and interaction in pairs and a small group, sometimes for collaborative work with those outside the campus and sometimes for present-day’s problemsolving tasks cooperated with local government, companies and organizations.

The faculty aims to provide graduates with academic knowledge and skills on management and business required under present-day society and economic and business circumstances as well as abilities and skills of both information processing and communication
The faculty also enables students to acquire "human qualities” like abilities to understand their roles in the companies and organizations, abilities to hold an opinion of their own and abilities to make a contribution to solving a wide variety of problems on management and business in the modern society in proactive and cooperative manners.

The faculty aims to let students acquire creative ability to express individual’s original ideas through refining sensitivity and imagination of their own while obtaining matured personality through art and design education. It also enables graduates to accept various kinds of philosophy through learning arts and design and to acquire “ Cyu-jyo” personality that is, sincerity and consideration, known as school’s guideline for action, through developing communication skills. Then it fosters human resources that contribute actively to creation of an enriched future under the slogan of a service to society through arts.

The faculty aims to foster education experts with “human qualities” and wide-ranging education in helping students acquire “ a zest for life” Education experts with “human qualities” are identified as those with following abilities: a person to strengthen emotional bonds through communication and accept children’s mind, a person who has gained a wide ranging education and acquires quality and ability for next-generation education, a sensibility-rich person who handles education problems in the society from various points of view, and those who reflect and study educational practice.
